A Revolting! Challenge
| Back in August of 1993, a person appeared on The WELL conferencing system
who had been to Bill Clinton's alma mater, Oxford, around the same time
that President Clinton did. This person, who refuses to be quoted or attributed, spoke to several of Clinton's classmates at an Oxford reunion (the President was also there) and was assured that our President "did more than one LSD trip and found the experience quite interesting and amazing." In a post later that year, this same individual said that he was "reasonably certain" that Clinton had ingested psychedelic drugs while at Oxford. We at REVOLTING! issue forth the following challenge: we are asking individuals with legitimate information to come forth with the goods. We're asking legitimate investigative reporters to do the legwork, talk to Clinton's former classmates at Oxford, and let the truth shine on through. Why do we want to do this? The hypocrisy of the Clinton Administration on drug issues knows no bounds. Their continuation and expansion of the disastrous drug war of the Reagan/Bush years fuels an industrial/prison complex that could only exist in a police state. The recent Clinton proposal that all international transactions of $750 or more must be reported has everybody, even the bankers, freaked out over the Orwellian implications. Perhaps Prez Clinton hasn't reflected on those many trips he logged in the early 1970s in some time. By provoking a public scandal, we might induce a flashback. You never know... Take the challenge!
